List of Carriage Diagrams
This list of LB&SCR carriage diagram numbers has been provided by Simon Turner as an aid to identifying vehicles. It is compiled from original registers at The National Archives. The LB&SCR used two different diagram numbering series, the first were introduced by R.J. Billinton and used until around 1911, and the second from 1911 onwards. Coaches are often referred to by a composite of the two series: e.g. "Diagram 14/238".
